Regarding the beginning and ending of a date there are four different methods. The Christian method is that the date is counted from midnight to midnight. Second method is of Hindus and is from sunrise to sunrise. The Greek philosophers count it from midday to midday. The fourth is the Muslim method which counts a date from sunset to sunset. And this is logical that there is darkness before light (Al Malfuz).
